The Wednesday evening book group has been meeting at the Morse Institute Library for over 15 years! Each month the goal is to choose a book that will promote a good discussion, there is a difference between finding a good book to read, and a good book to discuss. In order to have a discussion, you need a book with three dimensional characters, dealing with real life issues, whether past, present or future. People who have to make difficult decisions, in difficult situations, sometimes their behavior makes sense, and sometimes it doesn't. The books that are chosen are from a wide variety of genres; everything from classics, to biographies, historical fiction, and contemporary literary fiction. We are a group of people who love to read, and talk about what we read with other people. We always welcome new members, and fresh opinions.
