Adam Johnson's book, The Orphan Master's Son turned out to be a rather dark book. Reading about North Korea was interesting as well as disturbing. This book was not only an ALA notable book, but also won the Pulitzer in 2013. It gave insight into a world that most Americans know little about, and cannot fathom. The country is very rigid with many restrictions, and the people know little of the outside world. The following is an interview with the author about the book:
